This a four part assignment. The purpose of these assignments is to offer you a structure to listen to your professional voice and to weave together your experiences at University in the Social Work program into a personal practice philosophy and more defined perspective on your social work role. In Assignment 1, you will state your espoused theories : the theories that you believe to be the foundation of your practice. In Assignment 2, you will look closely at your practice actions to better understand what they tell you about your theories in use and your espoused theories. Finally, in Assignment 3, you will reflect on the first two parts of the assignment in order to make a statement of your personal practice approach and to identify next steps in developing your social work knowledge and skills and 4 is lay out on a poster format that I would attach along with this order.Part 1: Draw from Authethnograph, to Analysis of My Espoused Theory: What are the theories, assumptions, values, ethics, politics and knowledge that I believe inform my practice? Part 2 Draw from Autoethnography, to Analysis of My Theories in Use: Am I doing what I think I am doing? If I am not, what do my practice actions tell me? With your list of theories, models, assumptions, ethics and values from Assignment 1 in hand, Select a critical incident or incidents. Write up the incident in detail in one or two paragraphs so that you can use it as a frame of reference.Analysis of a critical incident can often offer a glimpse into our theories in use and the tensions between these theories and our espoused theories. Part 3 Draw from Autoethnography, to This is a Beginning Conceptualization of My Practice Philosophy and next steps in my professional development as a social worker. 1. Make a clear statement of your social work practice philosophy. This statement should include: The Social Work values and ethics that underlie your practice. Your understanding of human nature and behavior in social contexts. The Social Work theoretical concepts that you feel are important to you, and why. Your definition of clinical social work, or social work administration, and its mission. Your understanding of behavioral, or organizational, change. Part 4 Draw from Autoethnography, Take the information form the paper and put into this poster format that will be attach.
