INSTRUCTIONS: Be sure your name is at the top of the draft.Include a working title. Ideally, your title will be both informative and enticing to a reader.Include a SELF-ASSESSMENT PARAGRAPH of 100 words or more at the beginning of the draft. This paragraph should explain what you think the strengths are of the draft thus far, and what SPECIFIC areas you think you need to work on. Why do this? It s helpful at this point to pause and think about what works or doesn t work so far in your paper. That pause may turn out to really drive your revision process. This paragraph should not be part of the three pages or more of the paper.Include documentation. That means there should be in-text citations of paraphrases and quotes from sources, as well as a References list at the end. I m not looking to see that every comma and capital letter is in place yet, but it should be clear in the draft that you are following documentation guidelines.
