Letter of Intent Guidelines for the Ultimate Funding Center 2016 Grant Competition The Ultimate Funding Center (UFC) requires a Letter of Intent be submitted by all of those intending to submit a proposal for the 2016 Grant Competition. This LOI will be used for administrative purposes only. Only those who submit an LOI will be eligible to submit a full proposal. Requirements Letters should meet the following requirements: Should be written on agency letterhead Professional formatting (See https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/653/01/ for information on how to write a block format business letter and https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/653/02/ for a sample) One page maximum One-inch margins on all sides 11-point font Be signed by only one representative of the agency Include the following in the body of the letter (number and title each section as described below): 1. Project title: (no more than 60 characters). 2. Submitting Agency: Name of the agency submitting the grant 3. Key Personnel: Name of key personnel from the agency submitting the grant 4. Project overview: Describe your agencys mission. Briefly describe the need you wish to meet and the outcome you expect from your program.
