This research shall include a critical analysis of RM measures, and comments on conflicting literature and pointing out any gaps in research to date. Thereafter, the students shall recommend a RM measure which is suitable and feasible to indicate RM performance. Overall aim: To enable students to demonstrate their understanding of the importance and function of revenue management. Learning outcomes: Identify the principles of revenue and yield management. Discuss, demonstrate and apply demand management strategies, pricing, capacity management, discount allocation, forecasting and other associated procedures essential to successful Yield Management.
