The definition of a hero is the person who hs the tranference of consciousness, who will sacrifice to promote goodness, and who has ego in himself. THe role of a hero can vary, everyone can be a hero, because once an individual does something that’s not only for himself but for the benefit of a large number of people, or even the world, the individual can be seen as a hero. The purpose of a hero is to help, both himself and others. In the old Anglo-Saxon society, a heor’s usually defined as someone who would risk his life to defeat the enemy in order to help protect the clan or the kingdom. As in Anglo-Saxon mythology, hero’s also defined as someone who would purge the evil on behalf of the society and as well glorifies himself. The significan of a hero’s life action from the perspective of the past usually referes to the defeat of the evil by the hero, so that the common everyday people can keep their peaceful lives and live without fear or uncertainty. The significance of a hero’s life action from the perspective of the present usually refers to the promotion of glory and goodness of the society. For example, the Olmpic athletes who won the medals for their countries brought honor and respect for their countries. The significance of a hero’s life action in the perspective of the future refers to the positive influence for the future generations. For example, the person who’s seen as a hero will be recorded in the history, therefore, the brave deeds and high ethic the person own can give good examples to the future generations, and further bring up another hero or a better society….
